World Science Fiction Convention

In the best tradition of Mickey (I've got some costumes, you've got a barn, let's put on a show!) Rooney, Scatvia intends to host an amateur Film Festival annually wherever the current WorldCon may be held, starting in 2004. Entrants for the Festival may be up to five minutes in length (although that’s a little long) or as short as thirty seconds. Deadlines for submission will be published here, no later than three months before the next WorldCon. The First Prize of $500 will be awarded by audience acclaim. The total program length will be no longer than one (television) hour long, so if the number of submissions go beyond this time frame, the Scatvian Film Festival Committee reserves the right to select the choicest clips to fit within this format.

Submission information and rules. In a nutshell, keep it short and keep it funny! No two-ton dumbbells, blood or peanut butter allowed, thank you very much.
