Be Careful Where You Sneer
FADE TO Fighting Field.
A "knight" dressed in Frenchified colors of blue and gold, followed by a musician holding a recorder, goes up to another knight in gold and red, strikes him across the face with his gloves.
FRENCH KNIGHT
English Dog, I challenge yew to galliards at ten paces!
ENGLISH KNIGHT
You French Fop, I can out-galliard you ANY day!
They gesture to the musician who begins playing and they proceed to galliard.
As they're getting through the first part of the galliard (one-two-three-FOUR-five-six, one-two-three-FOUR-five-six) a HUGE VIKING comes looming up over them, they stop, look at him and sneer.
KNIGHTS
Uncultured Barbarian!
CAMERA FOCUSES in on Viking's face as he pauses, lifts one eyebrow and, as the camera pulls back, he finishes up the galliard with a flourish (one-two-three-four-FIVE-SIX-SEVEN-EIGHT!) and the two "cultured" knights stare in disbelief as the audience cheers and the scene
